It's the Christmas Season....

Everyone has many special memories from the holiday season.  Tell about a favorite memory that you have from a past Christmas.  Find a memory that does not involve material items, such as gifts.  Instead tell about a memory that involves the people you love.

One of the best memories that I have is when we went to visit family in Ohio a couple days before Christmas. Halfway on our drive it started snowing. Reese, Corey and Brooke were very excited about the snow, but I was worried all of our plans of going shopping and to dinner and traveling to different homes would be ruined.

We got over a foot of snow and all of our plans were cancelled. It ended up being the best Christmas ever. Even though we hadn't finished our shopping and had no wrapping paper. Even though the cable went out and we didnt have WIFI. Even though we didn't leave the house for 2 days. We spent precious time together- playing monopoly, drinking hot chocolate and telling stories. Made us all really think about what truly is important during the Holiday season...

My special memory from the holiday season is from christmas eve 2011. It is actually kind of funny. We were in Carson city to visit my great grandma Wellwood and have christmas dinner. At dinner we were having the usual christmas dinner. Ham. Deviled eggs. So much other yummy stuff. After dinner we went to open presents and we let my grandma open her presents first. we had to wait quite a while because she was busy reading us nutrition facts from a book she got about 20 years ago. The rest of us were laughing quietly and it made us think to be happy that you have a long life if you stay in shape.

One of my best memories is when I went to my grandmas house on Christmas eve last year. My cousins came over to celebrate too. We had dinner. We had ham, deviled eggs, mashed patatoes, corn, and lots more of delishous food. Next we watched a movie called "A Christmas story". We had desserts like hot cocoa, pumpkin pie, cookies, and milk. After we ate we opened presents and that was when I was really excited for what I got for Christmas. We also let our mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, aunt, and our uncle open presents first. After we opened presents, we said good-bye to our cousins, grandma, grandpa, aunt, and uncle good-bye, huged them, and said "Merry Christmas", and left with our presents and got ready for Christmas to come.

My special memory is going to my Grandparents house for Christmas eve.One of the reasons I like it there is because my aunt and uncle from Illinois are there. Also my Grandma cooks a big, yummy dinner.Plus, theres this cool toy train that goes around the tree that my sis and I like to play with.

One day my family decided to go sleding. I was very excited so when we got there I jumped out of the car. My mom got the sled out of the car and I hopped on the sleg without telling anyone to hold it. Well that was a mistake because I went flying down the hill and almost flipped over. Then I tryed to do it again. My family thought I was crazy but I said it was fun. When we got back home we drank hot cocolate and talked about christmas decorations. So that was the time I had chistmas fun.

One of the best memories on christmas eve took place last year and all of my family got ready to go to 10:00 pm mass. We were all so tired and it was like 2 hours away from our house. We finally got there and noticed that we missed it, it was at 10:00 am!!!!!

One of my best memories is that we were going over my gandma's for Christmas and when we were walking up the drive way I threw a snowball at my sister Madison. Then we walked in and I could smell the fresh baked cookies and I could see all the presents under the tree with a bunch of ornaments on it.
