I love to get "lost" in a good book. I promised my students last year I would read some of Carl Hiaasen's books over the summer. I was unsure because his books are for students, but I took "FLUSH" with me to the beach. After a couple of pages, I was hooked. In fact, I was so lost in the book, I finally realized an hour had gone by. When I finally tried to stand, both of my legs had fallen asleep! I loved this book because the characters grabbed my attention with their funny actions and interactions with each other. I highly recommend "FLUSH" to my fellow readers... --Mrs. Lannon

The next day I finished it and said to myself "Wow I really loved this book". So take it from me read "THE TAIL OF EMILY WINDSNAP"!!! ---Kristina
I got lost in a book when I was in bed reading "The Boys Start The War". I was reading a part where the girls were pretending that one of there sisters is dead. They take a bed sheet and put her in it. they carry her down to the that separates their houses. They cry like they're sad and she really died then they tipped the sheet and they sent her into the river and sunk to the bottom and swam away. It looked like she really died and the boys believed it! When they went to go to school she jumped out of behind them and all of the boys looked like they just seen a ghost! I think people would like this book because it is very funny. Also because it is just a continues line of jokes. If you like realistic fiction this would be a good book for you. And if you do not like realistic fiction and you like funny books it be good a really book for you to.
I was lost in "Catching Fire",book 2 in the "Hunger Games" series. I was lost in it at school and at home. One night I was up until eleven o'clock reading. In this book, there are no boring parts at all. I highly recommend this to people who are unsure about reading the Hunger Games.
When I was in third grade Mrs.Tacoff had to remind me to stop reading because I was lost in my book and kept on reading even when she told us to stop. I forgot what the book was named, though.
Just today, after school, I was reading a "Make:" magazine. My mom told me to take out my folder and assignment book. I kept telling my mom one minute with my finger because I was so interested in it. ---Lucas
